Glimpses From the Family Album

I really appreciate the kind notes I frequently receive from people who have learned about my story. I am often asked how the kids are doing, so I thought you might enjoy some pictures from our family album. Although. Brittany requires constant care because of damage done by the Moya-moya disease and her profound Down Syndrome, she is a happy child who loves her Dad, her Moms and Pops, and her brother, Justin, and still loves to watch Barney. Justin is a grown man who has followed his dad into the insurance business and is doing very well. I am proud of both my children.

All grown up!

  3. Thank you so much, Monique. I apologize for the tardiness of my response. Forgiveness is a hard one, especially when it's not just me that is affected. I don't care about me, but what she did to the children is unforgiveable. I almost lost Brit and Justin because of the damage Lisa was responsible for. I am so grateful for my kids and love them dearly. I'm healing, and the book is helping. Thanks again for your kind words.

  4. May ALLAH give you greater health and you remain being a pillar of strength for your two beautiful children. Ameen. You are an exemplary father, a loving son and a great human being. You have not lived for yourself entirely but found happiness in their happiness and well being. HIGH RESPECT & LOTS OF PRAYERS FROM PAKISTAN TO YOU AND YOUR WHOLE FAMILY.

  5. Greetings. I have actually seen your story on Snapped a few times. It AMAZES me how many people would rather kill or attempt to kill rather then walk away!
In your case, what a blessing you not only SURVIVED your brutal attack, but were able to SOLVE your own case as well.
I have ALWAYS had a hard time accepting "Mothers" that can just leave their children behind? I don't think I will EVER understand it. In your ex's case, she shouldn't have been allowed to even HAVE more children! But...her loss is DEFINITELY your gain!
You have done an AMAZING JOB of moving past your almost DEMISE, picking up the pieces and moving on WITH YOUR BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN! Justin and Miss Britt are SO BLESSED that out of the whole world, YOU ARE THEIR FATHER!
I also raised my son alone, and have to say there really is NO GREATER GIFT!
So VERY, VERY glad you three made it through the whole ordeal TOGETHER!
Looks like Justin and Brittany couldn't have asked for a BETTER DAD!!!!!
